Spesso ci si chiede: meglio allenarsi all’aperto o in palestra? In realtà non c’è una risposta uguale per tutti, poiché dipende dalle esigenze e preferenze di ciascuna persona. Tuttavia, i benefici dell’allenamento outdoor non sono uguali a quelli dell’allenamento in palestra! Scopriamo perché.

Cos'è l'Outdoor Training?

L’Outdoor Training è un allenamento caratterizzato principalmente da esercizi a corpo libero ed eseguito all’aria aperta a contatto con la natura. Può essere svolto da soli o in compagnia sotto l’attenta guida di un trainer. Quali sono le modalità di allenamento?

Le modalità per allenarsi all’aria aperta sono svariate! Si possono creare dei circuiti o delle lezioni di gruppo, effettuare allenamenti singoli a tu per tu con il personal trainer oppure allenamenti a coppie. Allenamento di gruppo o individuale?

Appurato quali siano i benefici dello sport, ora non rimane che una domanda: mi alleno da solo o in gruppo?

Qualsiasi sia la disciplina sportiva i benefici che potremmo trarre da un allenamento di gruppo sono innanzitutto la capacità di lavorare in squadra, ovvero la capacità di collaborazione con il compagno/i. Poi viene sviluppato il senso del gruppo ovvero la capacità positiva di porsi all’interno di un gruppo, al di là del ruolo ricoperto.

Negli sport individuali è più accentuato il senso di responsabilità ovvero la capacità e la forza nel seguire un programma di allenamento. Aumento della propria autostima e consapevolezza dei propri miglioramenti strettamente legata ad una competizione con sé stesso e al superamento dei propri limiti. Qualunque sia la scelta effettuata, lo sport in generale, fortifica mente e corpo migliorando il proprio stile di vita

Che cosa serve per effettuare un allenamento Outdoor?

L’attrezzatura utilizzata viene scelta in base alla tipologia di allenamento da effettuare e al luogo in cui verrà svolto. Per lo più si tratta di allenamenti a corpo libero, per cui spesso basta un semplice tappetino e degli indumenti comodi. Nonostante ciò, l’allenamento outdoor può essere arricchito utilizzando molti piccoli attrezzi come le bande elastiche, i manubri, i TRX, il kettlebell e tutto ciò che si ha a disposizione. Uno dei vantaggi dell’allenamento all’aperto è la possibilità di sfruttare anche ciò che si ha nella propria area di allenamento, da un semplice gradone a una panchina.
